We offer world class technology in clean gas solutions.

Through our research and development, Gas Capture Technologies aims to contribute to the economy of Australia and increase the output of cleaner emissions of the gas industry, as well as improve technologies of unconventional gas processing worldwide.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

Gas separation technology is key to the development of the world’s unconventional natural gas. Our contribution to the industry is the creation of more efficient gas separation technologies to be used which in turn can contribute to cost savings by re-using gases and chemicals. Many gases sources contain high levels of contaminants such as CO2 and N2, which need to be removed to meet commercial requirements. This process is important in the production of clean and high grade liquefied natural gas (LNG).

PATENTED TECHNOLOGY

Our flagship offering makes use of Zeolite Technology and transition metal complexes to separate impurities from the gas stream such as light levels of CO2 and N2. We can capture the CO2 and N2 and store them on site. This prevents the CO2 going back into the atmosphere (reducing global warming) and nitrogen can be used elsewhere in the process, saving costs for the refineries.

Our pioneering venture is in collaboration with Oilfield Production Technologies (Australian) and a chemical manufacturer (China). Australian Government funding received for our research represents a significant leap forward in commercialising the gas separation technology developed by Dr Kevin Li, Professor Eric May of the Australian Centre for LNG Futures.

Among our clean gas solutions, we also offer high-performance purification of hydrogen (HYPUR) and recovery of C2 and C3 in gas streams (DITRICAP). Contact us to find out more.
